Stitch & Pitch Seattle

What a fun night! Husband and I attended the game with our family Lady M and Sir L, residents of Seattle and the most fabulous hosts ever. We followed up the game by taking in the Bellevue Arts Festival, a tradition in my husband’s family for over 30 years.
The game was great — so many knitters! A blanket to my right, socks and sweaters behind me, and my husband to my left. The seats were up high, which provided us with I think maybe the best view in the stadium.
Now I must admit I am not a huge baseball fan. This situation must have been anticipated because when I was bored (this happened a few times), I went shopping. There were vendor stands from local yarn shops all around the level where our seats were. I got some great STR in Calico and ordered some in the Seattle Mariners colors (has not arrived yet). Stitch and Pitch provided us knitters with a little canvas bag to store our loot in as well.
Even though I am not a baseball fan the excitement of the game is infectious. Honestly I did not get much knitting done. I watched the people around me, enjoyed the company of family not often seen. Before I knew it the game was over. I am really looking forward to next year.
