[edit] What is WikiKnitting?
WikiKnitting is a wiki that's devoted to knitting and other fiber arts. All information relating to knitting is welcome here.
[edit] What is a wiki?
A wiki is a community maintained knowledge base. The most well known example is Wikipedia. The great thing about wikis is that they are open to editing by everyone. That means if you see a mistake you can just fix it. Or if you think something is missing then you can add it. Remember to be bold!
[edit] Who can contribute to WikiKnitting?
Anyone can. In fact that's what makes wiki's so great. Getting started is easy. Go to the Help section and read up on how to edit pages. Then become an active member of the WikiKnitting community.

Images can be uploaded to wikiknitting by using the Upload file link in the sidebar.

- Copyright - Please attach a copyright notice to all images uploaded. Recommended copyrights are listed below.

- Public Domain
- NOTE: Do not upload images in violation of their copyright

Pages can be added by going to Add_New_Page.
All pages added via this method are created using a template. This helps keeps the look and feel of the site consistent.
