We want you to get involved and help with the WikiKnitting community! These are just a few ways you can.

[edit] Create an Account
While you can edit pages as an anonymous user, you will only be known as an IP address. Create an account and take credit for your contributions. Having an account also enables you to create new pages and watch pages.
[edit] Edit Articles
See something that's wrong? Maybe it's typo or a piece of incorrect information. Then fix it. Be bold!
[edit] Create Articles
See something that is missing. Then add it! Don't worry if it's not perfect. Other users will help polish it up.

Not sure where to begin? The Task List is the place to start. This is the list of items that need to be done on the site.
[edit] Subscribe to the Announcements RSS or Atom Feed
Effortlessly keep track of what's happening at WikiKnitting.com by subscribing to the RSS or Atom feed on the Announcements page. This is where I will post site changes and new features.
[edit] Quality Control
Wiki's are great because so many people can add information to them. This means that sometimes the writing style of an article can be inconsistent and that the page needs to be cleaned up. You can help in two ways.
- Place this snippet of code at the bottom of a page to designate it for cleanup.

- Visit the Category:Cleanup page and cleanup a page listed there.
[edit] Spread the Word!
Tell your friends, members of your knitting group, blog or website about us. The more contributors we have, the better the site becomes. Information on how to link to the site can be found on Linking to WikiKnitting.
