[edit] Notes
- The stitch is made using 2 differently sized needles. The large needle should be 3 to 4 sizes larger than the small needle. You cast on to the larger needle.
- The stitch is worked in pairs, so cast on a even number of stitches.
- Knit 1 row
- Purl 1 row
- Keeping the yarn in back and using the small needle insert the tip through the first stitch on the larger needle as if to purl. Then knit the second stitch and pull the loop through the first stitch, but don't drop the stitches off the left needle. Now, knit into the back of the 1st stitch and drop both stitches off the left needle. Repeat until you reach the end of the row.
